My wife, Shelly, and I were very Blessed to be invited to Jonesboro First Baptist to see two men we both spend time with who were Baptised Sunday, Gerald Moore and Robert Bruno. Jonesboro First Baptist and I take turns taking these men to church. I am a member at 12Stone Church. We are working to give these men a foundation of stone before they go back to society. Here are a few pics. They also treated us and the men to ao wonderful lunch at the church. Many thanks to Lansome Newsome and Michael Flournoy, who was also ordained as a pastor Sunday evening!

Blessed to have a wonderful group of 11 men from Clayton Transitional Center join my wife and I at 12Stone church Central Campus. The teaching was on how God is Always Fully Engaged with us and he shows us how to live Righteous and Wise. We then shared a meal together, with our partner Jim Sarver at Golden Corral. A wonderful day of worship and fellowship. Amen and Praise God. Here is a pic of the crew:
This past Saturday was the once a month volunteer day at Eyes of Love LIghthouse Mission. I took 7 men from Clayton TC. This is not just a chore we do once a month. Those of us who are small ministries have to help each other to survive, there are never enough volunteers! What I am trying to teach these men before they are released from prison is that: Life is not about you! We are ALL here to help the person next to us. Matthew 23:11 says: "The greatest among you must be a servant". (NLT version). If everyone would take a little of their time to serve and help others, how wonderful would this world be?? The men at Clayton have been helping this mission for 2 years, without their help, the mission would have closed it's doors long ago! There is never enough help. We were treated to Free Chick Fil A's from the Lawrenceville Suwanee location, Thank you very much! We were treated after work was completed to Dairy Queen in Buford! Here is a pic of the crew and a few other volunteers:
I was Blessed to take 10 men from Clayton TC to 12Stone Church this past Sunday. We want these men to be sure to find a good, home church upon their release from prison. I also encourage them to find a men's group so they will have support and accountability. I do this full time, prison ministry as a Chaplain, and it is the most rewarding work I have ever had the pleasure to do! God is Good! Here are a few pics including our meal after church:
