This past Saturday I took 7 men from Clayton Transitional Center to the Dugout Men's Group, where we were Blessed to hear the testimony of William Threatt. William will complete his 20 year sentence this coming February, 2018. He was originally given a 45 year sentence, but God intervened, had a new trial, and it was reduced to 20 years, no parole or probation upon completion! God is Good! I hope to get a video of his testimony, if our camera worked. When then went to see Joe and Elva at Eyes of Love LIghthouse Mission, where we did a few hours of community service, enjoyed some pizza, ice cream and wonderful fellowship! It has been a while since I last posted. We had man interruptions due to hurricane Irma. Sunday I was blessed to 8 men from Clayton TC to 12Stone church. Two of these men have not been to church on the outside in many years. The teaching is our movie series, where we find Faith in film. They used Guardians of the Galaxy, and focused on three stages: Self-absorbed, half-selfish, and then guard the interest of others. I believe we all go through periods of life in all of these stages, but we need to stay parked in the third stage: guard the interest of others, service!
