Help One Save One, Inc
Published by Helpone Saveone · Just now · This past Friday and Saturday all of the faith based volunteers at Clayton Transitional center took a train the trainer course on Life skills so that we can add this program to what we all currently teach. This new teaching incorporates and expands on some things I currently use to help these men prepare to reenter society. These men need God at the center of their lives, and a tool box of knowledge to successfully reenter society and never go back to prison. I not only help these men while they are still incarcerated I also offer to help them once they are released. If they live too far away, we can always communicate with a phone call, text or email. The goal is not just to reduce recidivism, which is about 30% in the state of Georgia, but to keep these men and future generations out of prison, period. One of the most alarming statistics for Georgia is that 1 out of every 13 are under some sort of government supervision, parole, probation, jail or prison. We have to get God in their life to change their heart, and then we can partner with them and God to change how they think and process life!
