I was unable to take a group of men from Clayton TC this past saturday to Dugout men's group. It was the 5th weekend for April, and they do not allow passes for those weekends. I attended Dugout with those that were able to attend. This weekend sort of worked-out. We did not have a community service project this weekend, and I was able to get some much needed rest. God works out everything for our benefit and His glory!
This ministry does run by donations. We use 100% of the funds raised to run this ministry. I am down to myself and one volunteer, John Berry, and we have not received any pay for two years. We love this work, but we need the support of those that view this page, and anyone else that may have an interest, please forward the link to them. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, and all donations are tax deductible. Please see the info for our Plumfund below. God Bless!

Good afternoon, everyone. I have started a Plumfund to raise money to replace my 2003 Honda Accord that I use for the ministry, it is my day to day vehicle. I use it to visit to different facilities and to see the men once they are free. The Honda has 251,000 miles on it, and it is going to need many repairs in the near future. This ministry uses 100% of our donations for the ministry. Please review the Plumfund, and if it is something that matters to you, please donate. The state of Georgia spent 1.162 Billion for the Dept.of Corrections last year, hopefully we can start to decrease that amount, God willing. Here is the site:http://www.plumfund.com/charit…/HOSO-ministry-transportation. God Bless!
Prison Ministry Transportation

My current vehicle has 251,000 miles and will be in need of many repairs. 100% of the donations received go toward the ministry. These funds will be used to purchase a newer, lower mileage vehic…

Saturday was back to Dugout with * men from Clayton TC where we heard Tony and Wayne detail their mission trip to Kenya. Then it was off to Eyes of Love Lighthouse mission where we were to change over from winter to summer clothes. We had 36 hands on deck and were done in about 4 hours. Thanks to Chick Fil A Hamilton Mill for providing 50 box lunches and all of the tea and lemonade we could drink. God showed up big as well as ALL of those who helped. A few ministries and churches were well represented. God get ALL of the GLory!!

Last Sunday I took 11 men to the 6pm service at 12Stone church. Four of these men were going to a live church service for the first time in many years. What a site to see men jump right back into God's worship and message. This saturday we have Dugout men's group and community service at Eyes of Love Lighthouse mission. It will be a big day, changing to summer clothes from winter. a big shout-out to chick Fil A Hamilton Mill that will provide 40 box lunches for all of the volunteers. I am so blessed to see God's guiding hand in action!!

This past Saturday we were back to schedule and the men from Clayton Transitional Center (their last stage of prison), attended Dugout Men's group, and then on to community service at Eyes of Love LIghthouse mission. I would love to take the guys from Phillips State, but they are currently, not allowed to go out. These 7 men knocked out 6 hours of work in half the time. The mission struggles to find volunteer help, so these men come out to gladly help. It gives them a taste of the freedom they will soon enjoy, while it also gives them perspective that they will also need help once they are back in the Free World. It also teaches them that we are a give and take society, nothing worth having is just given to us, we must Earn It! I am very Blessed to spend time with these men. When it is all said and the day comes to an end, we all learn from each other, it is never one sided, and ALL of the Praise goes to Jesus!!

Saturday I took 8 men from Clayton TC to Dugout. This is a men's group consisting of 12Stone, The Bridge Church, and a few others. There were approx. 80 men in attendance. One of my guys, I won't include his name, talked about a prayer request and how he needed funds to pay some fines to get his driver's license back. I took him to a job interview for sales at a Honda dealership. They offered him the job, but he needed his license, but did not have $432.00. One of the men sta...

Took 7 men from Clayton TC to 12Stone church Sunday. Two of them have not been before, transforming! We are doing a financial series which is always good for men about to leave prison and reenter society. There are 2,350 verses of scripture on money. God knows it is that important for us to know how to handle it. They also received a book, Mastering Your Money by Ron Blue. Next up will be Dugout men's group and community service this saturday. I am too blessed!!

Yesterday was our once a month community service time. The cool thing is that I can take 11 men in the van, I had twelve ready to go, and 5 of these men had not been before. One that had been several times opted out so the new guys could go. Awesome! Great problem to have too much help. These men are from the Clayton Transitional Center and we helped Eyes of Love Lighthouse Mission sort clothes, organize the upper room and we installed a 20 foot bar made of steel conduit pipe...

Yesterday, John Berry and I went to check on one of the men we spend time with after they serve their prison time. Terry Chappell was hit by a car on his bicycle two week ago, and the lady just drove off. Terry did not go to the hospital and has been suffering and doing poorly ever since. We took him to the ER at Kennestone yesterday. He is now getting some much needed help, but has a long road to travel to get back to normal. Please pray for Terry so that he can allow God to heal him. He is a veteran and has another, hopefully better place to go once he gets out of the hospital. God Bless!! Wayne Wasmus and I will visit him today and get what he needs from his hotel room

Yesterday was our first Big Event at the Clayton Transitional Center. We had music, two guitars and drums, with Randall Brannon and Jordan and the band. We had food, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips and sodas and we Heartily fed 75 men. I am so Thankful for ALL of the help with Shelly Davis, John Berry, Wayne Wasmus, and to all who contribute to this ministry that God has Blessed us to be a part of. The weather held-out and God gets ALL of the glory and praise!! There were several of the residents that jumped in to help as well, although, we were there to Serve them!!
